On 12 May 2025, the Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE) held an online meeting with the participation of the Board of Leadership, heads of departments, functional units, and all ISIEE staff. The meeting aimed to review and consolidate the Institute’s operational plan for the upcoming semester, while aligning strategic directions to enhance training quality and expand international educational cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan – President of ISIEE; Prof. Dr. Robert Greenwood – Vice President of ISIEE, joining online from the United Kingdom; together with heads of departments, functional units, and all staff members of the Institute.
Prof. Dr. Robert Greenwood is an international education expert from the United Kingdom, with extensive experience in curriculum development, academic management, quality assurance, and international educational cooperation. In his role as Vice President of ISIEE, Prof. Dr. Greenwood works closely with the Institute’s leadership in shaping strategic directions, strengthening academic quality standards, and promoting training programs with an international orientation.
Notably, the online participation of Prof. Dr. Robert Greenwood from the United Kingdom demonstrated the close coordination between ISIEE’s leadership in Viet Nam and its international academic leadership. Despite the geographical distance, President Nguyen Thi Hong Loan and Vice President Robert Greenwood continue to maintain a flexible, effective, and regular working mechanism, ensuring consistency in management, program development, and the implementation of the Institute’s key initiatives.

Under the chairmanship of President Nguyen Thi Hong Loan, with the professional guidance and consultation of Prof. Dr. Robert Greenwood, the meeting focused on discussing and reaching consensus on two key strategic priorities.
The first priority was the recruitment plan for foreign teachers. ISIEE discussed in detail the recruitment criteria, selection process, and development roadmap for its international teaching team, with the aim of ensuring teaching quality in line with international standards and effectively meeting the increasingly diverse learning needs of students.
The second priority was the implementation roadmap for the Double Degree Program. This is one of ISIEE’s key projects in the coming period. During the meeting, the Board of Leadership and relevant departments reviewed the current progress, discussed implementation directions, and further refined the execution plan, thereby laying a solid foundation for the program to be officially launched in the near future.

The meeting concluded with strong consensus among the Board of Leadership and the professional team on the Institute’s development direction for the next phase. This serves as an important foundation for ISIEE to further expand international educational cooperation, develop high-quality training programs, and bring practical and sustainable educational values to learners on their journey toward global integration.
