What is the OMO Model?
The OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) model is a blended teaching approach that combines online and face-to-face learning, enhanced by the integration of technology. Developed by the Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE), the model is designed to optimize the learning experience and improve the effectiveness of foreign language education for Vietnamese students.
Unlike traditional blended learning, the OMO model is not merely a combination of different learning formats. It is a strategic and intelligent integration of three key components
In-person classroom interaction with teachers and peers
Synchronous online interaction, such as live sessions with international teachers or virtual group work
Asynchronous online learning, including self-paced study with integrated AI systems and access to a personalized learning content library
OMO empowers learners to study anytime, anywhere, while ensuring strong interaction, personalization, and learning effectiveness. At the same time, it enables schools to easily manage instructional quality and monitor learning progress.
ISIEE Programs





Ignite english (x9) program
English listening and speaking skills supplementary program for high school students. The program is a collaboration between foreign teachers teaching online and Vietnamese teachers teaching directly according to the OMO model.
UNIS@ English Program
UNIS@ English is designed to enhance English language proficiency, with a strong focus on listening and speaking skills for undergraduate students in general education courses.
The program aims to help learners achieve B1-level Listening and Speaking proficiency according to the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework. It serves as a foundational step toward integrating English as a second language within universities, equipping students with the skills needed for international integration.
DOUBLE DEGREES Program
The Double Degrees Program is designed to provide Vietnamese students with access to international-quality education right in Vietnam at an affordable cost. The program is implemented through academic partnerships between Vietnamese universities and international institutions.
The program aims to:
– Award two undergraduate degrees from two countries (Vietnam and the United Kingdom) upon completion.
Reduce the cost of studying abroad and full international tuition fees.
– Enhance employability and global competitiveness for Vietnamese students.
– Support the internationalization of higher education in Vietnam in alignment with Conclusion 91 issued by the Politburo.
OMO IELTS with A.I. Supports
Program Objective
This program is designed to optimize training costs by reducing in-class test time, while enhancing learners' self-study skills and adaptive capacity in a digital learning environment.
Curriculum Overview
The program consists of 9 courses, each with 100 hours of instruction. It covers both academic language proficiency and IELTS test-taking strategies. The curriculum aligns closely with real IELTS question formats, while also developing learners’ critical thinking, presentation, argumentation, and debating skills.
