The Vinh Long Department of Education and Training (DOET) has officially approved the policy allowing The Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE) to coordinate with local primary educational institutions to deploy the English Program Integrated with Math and Science Topics, commencing from the 2025–2026 academic year.
The program aims to enhance students’ English proficiency through natural science subjects taught in a foreign language. It is designed to foster scientific and mathematical thinking in English, while developing logical reasoning and the ability to apply knowledge. This foundation will help students become more confident in higher educational levels and ready to participate in bilingual or international programs. Furthermore, the program aligns strictly with the orientation and guidelines of Decree 222/2025/ND-CP, linking the general education curriculum with global integration requirements.
The program will apply the modern OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) teaching model, utilizing a “co-teaching” method featuring an online foreign teacher working alongside an in-person Vietnamese teacher who provides direct support in the classroom. Notably, the program integrates A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) tools, allowing students to practice and reinforce knowledge in a personalized and effective manner after class hours.
According to the official directive from the Vinh Long DOET, the program will be piloted based on the voluntary participation of parents and students. The Department has designated the Vinh Long Continuing Education Center as the focal unit to directly coordinate with ISIEE in organizing and implementing the program at primary schools throughout the province.
