The Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE), in collaboration with Dong Do High School in Hanoi, successfully conducted an English demo class using the OMO (Online–Merge–Offline) model. This demo lesson was a key professional activity designed to assess real classroom effectiveness and introduce a listening and speaking enhancement approach delivered by 100% by native English teachers. The close coordination between native English teachers teaching online and Vietnamese co-teachers working in the classroom helped create an engaging learning environment and maintain effective classroom management. This activity is part of the national effort under Prime Minister’s Decision No. 2371/QD-TTg to help make English a second language in schools from 2025 to 2035. Through this hands-on lesson, the school leadership and ISIEE were able to gain clear and practical insights into how well the model works, providing a strong basis for considering official implementation in the near future. This collaboration is expected to create an international-standard communication environment, contributing to the improvement of English proficiency among students at Dong Do High School in Hanoi.
