On the morning of August 2, 2025, at Luu Van Liet High School (Vinh Long), the Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE) was honored to participate in the “Advisory Program on Selecting Subject Combinations and Learning Modules for Grade 10.” The event welcomed the enthusiastic participation of 442 Grade 10 students and their parents from the school
As part of the program, alongside academic counseling for the upcoming school year, ISIEE introduced a cutting-edge English language enhancement solution: the Ignite English (X9) Program – focused on developing English listening and speaking skills through the OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) model. This innovative and effective teaching method incorporates a dual-teacher approach, combining live online instruction from native-speaking teachers with in-person support from the school’s Vietnamese educators. The Ignite English program will be officially implemented for all Grade 10 students in the 2025–2026 academic year and has received strong interest and support from both students and their parents.
This initiative is part of ISIEE’s broader mission to modernize foreign language teaching and learning methodologies. The institute has successfully developed and transferred this model to Vinh Long Province with the strategic aim of gradually making English a second language in schools across the province. Under the directive of the Vinh Long Department of Education and Training, the Continuing Education Center of Vinh Long Province will collaborate with ISIEE to roll out the program across general education institutions within the province starting this academic year.
