Vinh Long Preschoolers Take Their First Exciting Steps into the World of English

VINH LONG – Recently, The Institute of Studies of International Education and Economics (ISIEE) successfully organized the first classes of the “Introduction to English for Preschoolers” program utilizing the OMO model. Held at Hoa Mi Kindergarten and Hoa Sen Kindergarten in Vinh Long province, the program introduced a fresh learning environment filled with joy for the children.

This experiential session provided a wonderful opportunity for children aged 3-5 to encounter English in the most natural way possible during their “golden period” of language development.

The highlight of the session was ISIEE’s unique OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) model. The children were thrilled to interact, sing, and play games with foreign teachers via a large screen, helping them get accustomed to native pronunciation and intonation right from the start. Meanwhile, Vietnamese teachers were present in the classroom, not only to assist when needed but also to actively participate in activities, creating an approachable and safe bilingual environment.

The classroom atmosphere was incredibly vibrant. Little hands constantly raised, bright laughter, and confident interaction with both teachers were clear proofs of this method’s effectiveness. Although there was some initial shyness, the children were quickly drawn into the fun songs, stories, and games, absorbing the new language naturally and enthusiastically.

The experiential session concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression on both attending parents and teachers. This serves as an important stepping stone, affirming ISIEE’s commitment to bringing advanced educational models to every region of the country, helping the next generation of Vietnamese students stand confident on their journey of global integration.
