APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) TOOLS IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR
Program Introduction
This is a training program specifically designed to help officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the public administration sector understand and effectively apply A.I tools to their work. The main goal is to improve productivity, automate processes, support decision-making and improve the quality of service to the people.
At the end of the course, students will:
- Master the foundation of AI technology and how to apply it in public administrative reform.
- Proficient in using leading AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Google Bard…) to draft documents, create reports, look up and create content quickly.
Identify and integrate AI into real-life workflows to optimize performance. - Understand and comply with the principles of digital ethics, data security and legality when using AI.
Core content
The learning path is scientifically designed through 5 sessions, from overview to depth and practice:
Foundation: Overview of AI, digital transformation and major policies of Vietnam.
Practical skills: Look up information, create digital content (reports, plans, invitations) and work in groups on digital platforms using AI tools.
Advanced applications: Optimize document processing, automate internal processes and support people to use online public services.
Ethics & Security: Identify risks, protect data and related legal regulations.
Real projects: Practice in groups, solve simulated situations to apply all learned knowledge to actual work at the unit.
Training methods
The program focuses on maximum application with the method:
- Theory combined with practice through real-life situations.
- Students practice directly on popular A.I tools.
- Interact and work in groups to solve simulated work problems at state agencies.
